General information on data security
Our website is designed for the marketing of used power plants and related equipment, the publication of purchase requests as well as the promotion of our own services. We do not use any external plugins except the statistics tool Matomo (see data analytics below) and do not use social media buttons. However, we store personal data in connection with the application form for purchase requests and the option to receive our newsletter.
Personal data such as name, telephone number or e-mail address will only be stored by us if you provide us with such data - for example, because you use our input forms and provide us with your e-mail address so that we can get in contact with you.
We store this data as long as you want to use the corresponding service, after which such data will be deleted. Of course we treat your personal data confidentially and never pass it on to third parties without your written consent. You can request information about your stored data at any time.
As a service, we provide you with a newsletter that you can subscribe to on our website. Details of the newsletter, in particular its possible contents, are briefly described in the approval statement. When subscribing to our newsletter, the data entered by you in the input form will be sent to us. In order to sign up for the newsletter, you must provide your title, first name, surname and e-mail address as mandatory data. If you provide further personal data at the time of signing up, such information is voluntary.
To register for our newsletter we use the so-called double-opt-in procedure. After you have signed up, we will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address provided by you, in which we will ask you to confirm that you like to receive the newsletter in the future. In addition, we store your IP address and the time of signing up for the newsletter as well as the time of your confirmation. This data is used exclusively for the sending of the newsletter. The data for the sending of the newsletter will not be passed on to third parties.
The data you have entered when you signing up is solely processed for the purpose of addressing you personally. Once you have confirmed your approval statement, we will save your e-mail address in order to send you the newsletter. We save the respective IP address and the dates of the registration and the confirmation in order to prove your registration and, if necessary, to solve any possible misuse of your personal data. This is also in our legitimate interest. As far as you have given us consent, the legal basis for the processing is art. 6, para. 1., sentene.1, lit. (a) of the European General Data Protection Regulation. To the extent that the processing is based on our legitimate interests, the legal basis is art. 6, para. 1., sentence 1, lit. (f) of the GDPR.
You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter e-mails at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. You can unsubscribe by clicking on the link contained in any newsletter e-mail sent to you. Alternatively, you can unsubscribe by sending us an e-mail.
The aforementioned data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes. We therefore store your aforementioned data as long as you have subscribed to the newsletter or we no longer offer such a service. After unsubscribing the newsletter we store the aforementioned data purely statistically and anonymously.
Our website uses Matomo, which is a so-called web analysis service. This service uses so-called "cookies", which are text files that are stored on your computer and that enable us to analyse the use of the website. For this purpose, the usage information generated by the cookie (including your shortened IP address) will be transmitted to our server and stored for usage analysis purposes, which will serve our website optimisation. Your IP address will be immediately anonymised during this process so that you remain anonymous to us as a user.
If you do not agree with the storage and evaluation of this data from your visit, then you can object to the storage and use with a mouse click in the tick box below at any time. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser, with the result that Matomo does not collect any session data. Please note: If you delete your cookies, this also means that our opt-out cookie is also deleted and will have to be reactivated by you.
