[July 2020] Located in Western Europe, these two power generation units for sale consist of 2 General Electric gas turbine generator sets, built in 2005, each with an electrical output of approx. 125 MWe. For both sets, the operating times so far have been approx. 105,000 hours and 1,200 starts.

These two General Electric gas turbine sets are part of a CCGT power plant and are expected to be dismantled and replaced by new plant components from May 2021 onwards as part of an extensive modernisation, which also includes generators, transformers and auxiliary systems.

Until then, these GE Frame 9E heavy-duty gas turbines (of type GT PG9171 E) can be tested by interested buyers, ideally between November 2020 and March 2021. The two GT gensets are offered as a package deal, however, the owner is prepared to sell selected equipment separately, too. An inspection of the plant site in Western Europe is already possible any time.
